Zanzibar Austin has breathtaking rooftop pools and decks with views of the city's core.

Austin, Zanzibar

Zanzibar is a tropical rooftop deck and pool with spectacular views of downtown Austin, but the experience is anything but. The Austin area has a tropical, exotic feel to it. 77deg is all about the funky cocktails, the youthful vibe, and having a roof over your head in the Austin area, rather than the food. 77deg is one of the most upscale rooftop bars in Austin.

P6 is located in downtown Austin on East Cesar Chavez Street. Otopia, like many others, has a pool, as well as cozy couches and chairs, fire pits, stunning views, and a delectable menu. If you want to get some sun and see the sights, this is the place to be. You can't go wrong with any of these fantastic rooftop bars if you're exploring the city. Summit Austin is more of a music venue, with live music and DJs that people come to see on a regular basis.

Zanzibar, a tiki-inspired cocktail lounge and dining room on the hotel's seventh-floor rooftop deck overlooking the Downtown Austin swimming pool, opened in September, as did Corinne, a ground-floor destination with American comfort foods and an expansive outdoor dining patio, and The Lobbyist, a two-story cocktail lounge and bar. The Austin Marriott Downtown, a 31-story, 613-room property located at 304 E. Cesar Chavez St., just steps from the Austin Convention Center, is now open. It offers 60,000 square feet of meeting space, multiple restaurants, and a fitness center. new restaurants and bars, as well as a rooftop pool deck with panoramic views of downtown.

Surprisingly, those two treasures are hidden within a brand-new Marriott downtown property. Corinne is located on the lower level (corner) of the new Downtown Austin Marriott, attracting both hotel guests and locals. Sit on a large covered patio with plenty of tables surrounded by lush greenery.

Carolines Upstairs is easily one of the best spots in downtown Austin for a fun, laid-back hangout with friends. This Delta flight's gracious service and amenities pleasantly surprised me. Throughout the flight, I was impressed with the service, professionalism, kindness, and patience.

It would be ideal if they informed me as soon as they landed, so that I didn't have to wait any longer than necessary. We waited for 6 hours before learning that the flight had been canceled. Over 10 hours of waiting around the airport before being whisked away at 12:30 a.m. to a small hotel nearby.

Only after repeated complaints did the airport provide us with meals following our 6-hour wait to board. Water, which is standard on other airlines, was not provided on the flights. The cabin crew were all moved from the back of the planes to the front, which I assume was colder.

I was given aisle seats on both flights home, which allowed me to move around a little more. The plane took off. Attendants could have asked if we needed help understanding controls and making adjustments. While I was reaching down to assist another passenger, another flight attendant awkwardly kicked me.

It's good that I was served by passengers on such a long flight, and that there was no unexpected charge. Weave wanted to save you money on your flight from Austin to Zanzibar so you could spend more on your vacation. I understand that most customers do, but not everyone can handle the spicier foods.

Zanzibar, which is located just off Tanzania's east coast in Africa, is surrounded by a hotel rooftop swimming pool and offers beach-resort-style outfits that one would expect on an actual Indian Ocean island. The real Indian Ocean island begs for parties, whether they are friend reunions, intimate dinners, or private events for special occasions. Zanzibar Island, once the world's largest exporter of spices, brings that sea of flavors directly into the heart (and mouth) of Austin's very own oases.
